This article keeps track of which Genshin Impact 5-star characters are likely to get a rerun in the near future, so scroll down and see which Genshin Impact banners you should be saving your Primogems for.
Note that character reruns can be expected approximately every year (the limit so far is 400 days), but with the increasing roster of characters, this can be unreliable. This only serves as a tracker for who’s most likely to get a rerun. Version 3.0 debuted the new schedule in banners in which four five-star characters have their banners in the same patch, and this may be par for the course for the near future.
Unofficial sources suggest that Version 3.8 will be followed by Version 4.0. Version 4.0 is also rumored to introduce a new banner scheduling, which will feature three pairs of five-star banners, each lasting two weeks instead of the current three. But again, this is unconfirmed information, and no official channel has confirmed this yet.
Without further ado, here are five characters who are likely (or confirmed) to get a rerun banner within the next few months. Each character’s signature 5-star weapon, if applicable, can also be expected to run alongside the character.

Upcoming Genshin Impact Rerun Banners
Eula – 503 Days
The Spindrift Knight herself, Eula, had her last banner in Version 2.3, alongside Albedo. Unlike the Alchemist though, Eula only had to wait about half a year since her release in Version 1.5 to get a rerun. This doesn’t change the fact that we haven’t seen the Queen of Physical Damage featured in a long time. Both times, Eula’s banner was tied to in-game events. So, the next time we see her, it might be because of her involvement in an event.
Eula is one of, if not the, best sources of physical damage in the game. Her playstyle generally revolves around her Elemental Burst, which has the potential to deal an insane amount of damage if used properly. Her being a claymore user also means that she can break shields like a hot knife on butter. If you like seeing big numbers or want the best Physical DMG dealer in the game, waiting for Eula’s next featured banner should be your next move.
Unfortunately for her, she’s been ignored for over a year and a half now, and at least 25 banners have passed by without a chance for players to pull Eula again.
Klee – 273 Days
Klee is almost as old as the game itself, being introduced to us in the second half of Version 1.0. Despite this, she’s only had two reruns that were over a year apart. Luckily for our adorable little explosives expert, players will have a chance to roll for her again really soon.

Klee is slated for a skin a few Versions away, according to unofficial sources. Thus, we can expect her on a Genshin Impact banner soon. For a rough timeline, the Klee skin will probably release before Version 4.0.
“Fleeing Sunlight” Klee is considered an on-field Pyro DPS character, and it’s no coincidence that she does explosive damage. However, she does require some form of skill expression (like animation cancels and stamina management) as well as a good Artifact build to be maximized. She shines in mono-Pyro compositions and can be viable with Vaporize, but she cannot work with Freeze comps. Klee
Kaedehara Kazuha – 273 days
As part of a big Inazuma return that is expected to happen in Genshin Impact Version 3.7, Kaedehara Kazuha will most likely be featured in a rerun banner soon.

Kazuha is a great buffer even at C0 and is widely considered the best Anemo buffer in the game. As an Anemo character, he also has access to great crowd control with his Elemental Skill. Not to mention he uses Viridescent Venerer, one of the best support Artifact Sets in the game, well. Not only is he a great supportive character, he also deals decent damage even if he’s built as a support. Kaedehara Kazuha is an easy insert in any party that needs a support/buffer.
He was last featured in a banner in Version 2.8, along with Klee. We might be seeing Kazuha sooner than Klee, though, with the massive Inazuma-centric event that will happen in Version 3.7 that also introduces the most recently revealed character, Kirara.
Yoimiya – 161 days
What’s a festival without fireworks, and what are fireworks without Yoimiya? Yoimiya is also expected to be featured in one of the banners in Version 3.7, along with Kaedehara Kazuha.

Yoimiya is a DPS character, and despite her Bow weapon, you’ll be doing a lot of normal attacking as her. Her playstyle revolves around using her Elemental Skill (and maybe other party members) to buff her Normal Attacks, unleashing a barrage of arrows while proc-ing multiple Elemental Reactions with the Pyro applied by her attacks. She does well in mono-Pyro parties, but she can also do great with Vaporize comps when paired with Xingqiu or Yelan, and Overload with practically any character that can apply Electro off-field.
Yae Miko – 144 days
Yae Miko is arguably the most prominent character in Inazuma (save the Archon herself, of course). Her appearance in a rerun banner in Version 3.6 is also highly likely with the other Inazuma characters.

Yae Miko is an amazing source of single-target Electro damage, especially considering that being off-field does not affect her damage at all. Her Elemental Burst also offers great damage while refreshing her Skill cooldown. A big downside to her that many players dislike is her setup-dependent playstyle. Putting up all three of her turrets takes quite long and may make the difference in time-sensitive activities such as clearing the Spiral Abyss. With the recent emergence of Dendro characters, Yae Miko shines as one of the preferred sources for off-field Electro application in most Aggravate teams.
Alhaitham – 84 days
Alhaitham is the character with the most recent release date among all of those in this list. For reasons unknown, it seems he will be featured in a banner in Version 3.7 along with all of the Inazuma characters, according to unofficial sources.

Alhaitham can be a high-value Dendro character and can work with a lot of team compositions. He’s also not that difficult to invest on; he performs well on many weapons and even at C0, is a competitive choice for a Dendro DPS. The glaring issue with him is that he is a highly mechanical character, and when his high skill floor isn’t met, Alhaitham can be less than useful compared to the other Dendro characters.
Despite the sources for his rerun having a good track record, it’s still hard to imagine and he seems out of place in Version 3.7, especially with the big Inazuma event happening during that time.
Wanderer – 125 days
Wanderer has only been released quite recently, but it is an understatement to say that he has been a long time coming. He was released in the first half of Version 3.3, but it seems his Genshin Impact rerun banner is soon upon us and can be expected before Version 3.8 drops.

Wanderer designed as an on-field Anemo DPS, gaining various buffs to his Elemental Skill depending on which element it Swirls. He has a lot of potential with a specifically designed Artifact set, combined with the flexibility he offers from being an Anemo character, makes him a good fit as long as he has at least one element to Swirl. Those fond of exploring Teyvat will also appreciate his ability to hover and fly around, lessening the time you spend climbing steep cliffs and inclines.
